Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash, credit, and gift cards.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies promptly and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and performing cycle counts.
- Collaborate with the weekend team to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak hours.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Washington, DC location.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
