Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale (POS) and handle cash, credit, and digital payments efficiently.
- Assist with restocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product locations, availability, and store policies.
- Collaborate with the weekend team to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and minor customer complaints with patience and efficiency.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash drops and security checks, when required.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with a commitment to set shifts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
