Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers warmly, answering inquiries and providing product recommendations to drive sales.
- Store Operations: Maintain the sales floor, organize merchandise, and ensure product displays are visually appealing and fully stocked.
- Transaction Support: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Assist in store opening procedures (counting drawers, unlocking doors) and closing procedures (setting alarms, securing the building) to ensure store security.
- Inventory Management: Help with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and processing incoming shipments.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with floor managers and fellow associates to ensure seamless operations during peak weekend hours.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a consistent basis.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and time management is essential.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
- Technology: Basic proficiency with POS systems and mobile devices.
