Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems (training and equipment provided).
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory orders while adhering to digital manifests.
- Load & Unload: Manually and mechanically load and unload trucks and freight containers to ensure timely distribution.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations.
- Documentation: Accurately complete paperwork, including packing slips and inventory logs.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform manual labor in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Forklift Skills: Must be willing to obtain a forklift certification (provided by the employer).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly to understand instructions and coordinate with team members.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable transportation method and be available for full-time shifts.
