Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and ship goods using RF scanners and automated systems
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counting and audits
- Adhere to strict OSHA and company safety protocols in cold-storage environments
- Coordinate cross-docking activities for time-sensitive shipments
- Train new staff on warehouse procedures and equipment operation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or logistics experience
- Certification in forklift operation or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic math and computer literacy with WMS software familiarity
- Valid Alaska driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
