Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and stock inventory items into the warehouse management system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company guidelines.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet company standards and are free from damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on warehouse machinery and tools.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk extensively, and lift up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders.
- Reliability: Punctual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team.
- Documentation: Ability to read and understand basic work instructions and safety signage.
