Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Organize stock, verify incoming shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Picking & Packing: Select orders accurately and pack them securely for shipment to meet delivery deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of machinery and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and keep the workspace clean and organized.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including shipping manifests and quality control logs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads to optimize workflow and resolve operational bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners (RF guns) are highly desirable.
- License: Valid driver's license is required for driving company vehicles.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
