Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight: Safely handle materials using company-provided forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check in and verify shipments against packing lists using RF scanners.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Shipping & Receiving: Process outbound and inbound orders efficiently to meet daily productivity targets.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leads to resolve operational challenges.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Equipment Knowledge: Willingness to learn and operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when scanning barcodes and verifying inventory counts.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for some local delivery duties.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
