Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist: Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance with their inquiries and product selections.
- Operational Support: Assist in restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe store environment.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash payments with strict adherence to company security protocols.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and alert management when stock is running low to ensure popular items are always available.
- Customer Relations: Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to ensure store goals are met and operations flow efficiently during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse range of customers and staff.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to arrive on time and ready to work.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and handling money transactions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes (up to 25 lbs), and perform light physical tasks as needed.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
