Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Provide outstanding service by greeting customers and answering product inquiries
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining accurate cash drawer balance
- Bag merchandise and assist with carryout services as needed
- Scan, price, and stock merchandise to maintain organized displays
- Assist with inventory counts and store cleanliness tasks
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong numerical accuracy and basic math skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable transportation and consistent availability
- Proficiency with technology and willingness to learn POS systems
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Must pass background check and drug screening
