Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival to ensure a positive first impression.
- Manage entry lines and ensure a smooth flow of traffic for attendees.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event materials, including tables, chairs, and signage.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving minor issues.
- Monitor event areas to ensure safety and adherence to venue rules.
- Collaborate with the event team to ensure all operations run efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment throughout the event.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event staffing is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining a high energy level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to various event locations in Oakland.
- Punctuality and a professional attitude.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
