Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit card payments
- Provide outstanding customer service, resolve inquiries, and maintain organized checkout lanes
- Manage inventory, stock shelves, and ensure store cleanliness per company standards
- Execute promotional campaigns and upsell products to maximize sales
- Operate scanners, price checkers, and other retail equipment efficiently
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and daily reconciliation protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless store operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
