Responsibilities
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers with a smile and provide outstanding customer service.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit/debit transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Bag items neatly and ensure the checkout area remains clean and organized.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services.
- Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels during downtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is a plus but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
