Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop robust scenario-planning frameworks for enterprise risk mitigation and opportunity capture
- Design and execute strategic foresight workshops for cross-functional stakeholders
- Author forward-looking white papers and executive briefings on disruptive forces
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight findings into actionable innovation pipelines
- Represent the organization at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or equivalent experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
