Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and gift cards with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
- Assist customers with questions regarding products, pricing, and promotions.
- Resolve any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Reconcile daily sales and prepare deposits for the management team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with precision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and a history of punctual attendance.
