Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and answer questions about ingredients and preparation methods with confidence.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system and relay them to the kitchen promptly.
- Deliver orders efficiently, ensuring temperature and presentation standards are met.
- Upsell items responsibly, such as wine, appetizers, or specialty drinks.
- Clean and sanitize tables and dining areas between seatings to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and card transactions with precision.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server, host, or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (4-6 hours).
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Availability to attend a brief training session upon hiring.
