Responsibilities
- Execute precise inventory management procedures including cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation
- Operate advanced warehouse equipment (RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks) with OSHA compliance
- Coordinate complex order fulfillment for high-value/time-sensitive shipments
- Maintain strict quality control standards for perishable and luxury goods
- Train junior staff on safety protocols and operational best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Implement lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse/logistics experience with inventory management focus
- OSHA Forklift Certification and valid DC driver's license required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and RF scanning
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail for inventory accuracy
- Experience with high-value/time-sensitive inventory handling preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends during peak seasons
