Responsibilities
- Automated Testing: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress to validate nightly builds.
- Regression Testing: Execute comprehensive regression suites during evening shifts to ensure no critical bugs are introduced during off-hours updates.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate test pipelines into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment workflows to support weekend releases.
- Bug Reporting: Document and triage complex bugs found during off-peak testing, providing clear reproduction steps for the development team.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and load times to ensure optimal user experience for our evening user base.
- Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Developers to define quality standards and testing strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, specifically with automated testing frameworks.
- Programming: Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java, and hands-on experience with testing libraries.
- Schedule: Must be available to work evenings (6:00 PM - 2:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Tools: Strong knowledge of SQL and API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting technical findings.
