Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, social, and economic trends to forecast disruptive shifts in next-generation markets
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks and scenario-planning models for 5-10 year horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future products and services
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a network of industry futurists, academics, and tech pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on emerging paradigms
- Mentor junior innovation strategists and futurists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published thought leader in innovation or future studies domains
- Experience with design thinking and agile innovation frameworks
