Responsibilities
- Conduct daily dog walking and pet sitting sessions for multiple clients, ensuring each pet receives personalized attention and exercise.
- Monitor dogs for any signs of illness or injury and report findings immediately to pet owners.
- Transport pets safely to and from parks, vet appointments, or grooming salons.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital logs of feeding schedules, medications, and behavioral notes.
- Ensure yards are cleaned and maintained before and after visits.
- Handle administrative tasks, including updating client profiles and processing payments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional dog walking, pet sitting, or veterinary experience.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Reliable, insured vehicle with current registration.
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and safety protocols.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid certification for animals is a significant plus.
