Responsibilities
- Conduct daily dog walks for multiple clients, ensuring they receive adequate exercise, fresh air, and socialization.
- Ensure the safety and security of all pets during walks, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Monitor pet behavior for any signs of distress or illness and report immediately to the owner.
- Maintain accurate logs of walk times, distances, and pet behaviors for each client.
- Administer medication or dietary supplements as directed by the pet owner.
- Keep walking areas clean and free of waste at all times.
- Interact professionally with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' well-being.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional dog walking or pet care experience is required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are mandatory.
- Physical ability to walk up to 5 miles per day and handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
- Strong knowledge of basic dog commands and safety procedures.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
