Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume, error-free transactions while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Train and mentor junior staff on POS systems, security protocols, and brand standards
- Manage complex payment methods including credit cards, gift cards, and mobile transactions
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and discretion
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to store management
- Uphold security procedures for cash handling and fraud prevention
- Collaborate with sales associates to enhance the customer journey
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of cashier experience in high-volume retail or hospitality
- Expert proficiency with modern POS systems (Square, Shopify, etc.)
- Proven track record in cash handling with zero discrepancies
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
- Basic math skills with 100% accuracy in transaction processing
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
