Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume transactions with 100% accuracy using advanced POS systems
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized interactions and problem resolution
- Train and mentor junior cashiers on operational procedures and brand standards
- Manage cash handling procedures including cash drops, safe operations, and reconciliation
- Process complex payment methods including gift cards, coupons, and loyalty programs
- Maintain organized cash stations and ensure compliance with audit protocols
- Collaborate with loss prevention team to identify suspicious activities
- Support inventory management through cycle counts and merchandise processing
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of high-volume cashier experience in premium retail
- Proven expertise with modern POS systems (e.g., Square, Shopify POS)
- Exceptional mathematical accuracy and cash handling skills
- Strong conflict resolution abilities with diverse clientele
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic proficiency in inventory management software
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous team leadership experience preferred
