Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers warmly, answering questions and providing product recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions, handling cash, and managing returns with accuracy.
- Stock merchandise, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor remains clean, tidy, and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and folding new stock.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and loss prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse groups of people.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with POS systems.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
