Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist Customers: Welcome shoppers warmly, answer their questions, and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS): Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit cards, and returns.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing by stocking shelves and arranging merchandise according to planograms.
- Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with customers to offer recommendations, explain product features, and promote sales or loyalty programs.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving shipments, conducting stock counts, and reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods to management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to achieve store goals and maintain a cooperative work environment.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Customer Focus: A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Reliability: Punctual with a strong work ethic and ability to adhere to a schedule.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable handling cash and performing basic calculations.
