Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly upon entering the store, providing exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Organize merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively and inventory is up-to-date.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and policies.
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and loss prevention efforts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and price checks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
