Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service through product recommendations and issue resolution
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, card, and digital payments
- Manage inventory through stock replenishment, organization, and cycle counting
- Create visually appealing displays and maintain store cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and operational goals
- Assist in opening/closing procedures including security protocols
- Train new associates on product knowledge and store policies
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate POS systems and basic software
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license for inventory runs (if applicable)
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
