Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide product recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Equipment Management: Assist customers in selecting the right equipment, demonstrate product usage, and handle equipment exchanges or returns efficiently.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, receive shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure product availability.
- Store Presentation: Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and visually appealing in accordance with company standards.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handle cash and credit payments, and manage returns and exchanges.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to achieve sales targets and support store operations during peak hours.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols regarding the handling and storage of equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform light physical tasks.
- Basic Math: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for cash handling and inventory management.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail in inventory and store maintenance.
- Equipment Provided: Must be willing to wear and use the safety equipment and uniforms provided by the company.
