Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register, including handling cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and performing periodic stock counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and maintain store operations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with POS systems and smartphone applications is preferred.
