As a Retail Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience, ensuring our store looks its best, and helping our community find exactly what they need.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist them in finding products, providing a friendly and welcoming shopping environment.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout by stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and ensuring displays are up to date.
- Point of Sale (POS): Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately, process various payment methods, and handle returns or exchanges efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure store goals are met and operations run smoothly.
- Merchandising: Assist in inventory management, including checking stock levels and communicating with the back-of-house team regarding product availability.
- Brand Representation: Uphold company standards and values, representing our brand with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; a passion for retail is a must.
- Experience: No prior retail experience is necessary. We are looking for eager learners.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk around the sales floor, and lift boxes up to 25 lbs with assistance if needed.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive, outgoing demeanor.
- Availability: Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic Skills: Comfortable using technology and basic math for transactions.
