Responsibilities
- Equipment Management: Receive, inspect, and prepare high-value equipment for rental or sale, ensuring all safety protocols and quality standards are met.
- Customer Engagement: Greet clients warmly, assess their needs, and provide expert recommendations on the best equipment for their specific projects.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process transactions efficiently using our proprietary inventory management system.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and report discrepancies to management immediately.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe showroom environment that reflects our premium brand image.
- Support: Assist in training new staff members and participate in weekly team meetings and inventory audits.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not required for high-potential candidates.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate heavy machinery or equipment as trained.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure equipment is pristine and inventory records are accurate.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning new software and equipment quickly.
