Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service through product knowledge, friendly interactions, and personalized recommendations
- Process transactions accurately while maintaining secure cash handling procedures
- Execute visual merchandising standards including floor sets, displays, and inventory organization
- Drive sales through upselling, cross-selling, and loyalty program enrollment
- Assist with inventory management including receiving, stocking, and cycle counting
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store cleanliness and operational standards
- Participate in team meetings and training to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math proficiency and comfort with POS systems
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Positive attitude and resilience in fast-paced retail environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Virginia driver's license (for occasional store errands)
