Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure products are well-organized and available for purchase.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor in accordance with company standards.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and store targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive customer experience.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with technology and willingness to learn new POS systems.
