What You Will Do:
- Process customer transactions efficiently using our POS systems.
- Greet customers with a smile and assist with their shopping needs.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments accurately.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

Responsibilities
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) terminals accurately and efficiently to process customer purchases.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Bag merchandise, apply coupons, and ensure accurate change is given.
- Monitor the sales floor to ensure inventory levels are sufficient and shelves are stocked.
- Assist with inventory counts and stockroom organization as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe checkout area at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies and loss prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in retail is preferred but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Proficiency with computer systems and POS software.
