Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist: Welcome customers with a friendly smile, answer questions, and provide product information to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Transaction Processing: Efficiently operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, accurately process cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Customer Service: Handle inquiries, resolve complaints, and process returns or exchanges with professionalism and efficiency.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are presentable.
- Inventory Support: Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and cash handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail/customer service role is preferred.
- Skills: Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a preference for remote-friendly scheduling.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and comfort using POS systems.
