Responsibilities
- Master espresso extraction and specialty coffee brewing techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized beverage recommendations
- Manage inventory ordering and scheduling via remote digital platforms
- Train new baristas using our virtual onboarding modules
- Develop seasonal drink menus and promotional content remotely
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the café environment
- Analyze customer feedback through digital channels to improve service
Qualifications
- 1+ years professional barista experience with latte art certification
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Square, Toast)
- Strong digital communication skills for remote collaboration
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Knowledge of coffee bean sourcing and sustainability practices
- Valid Oregon Food Handler's Permit
- Reliable transportation to our Portland location
