Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experiments on 100+ qubit quantum processors to benchmark algorithm performance
- Develop error mitigation techniques for quantum supremacy breakthroughs
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design next-generation quantum processors
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature/Science journals
- Present findings at quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
