Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for NISQ-era processors with 500+ qubits
- Develop error mitigation frameworks achieving >99.9% fidelity thresholds
- Lead quantum-classical hybrid system integration for enterprise clients
- Author patents and publish in Nature/Science journals by Q4 2026
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in advanced circuit optimization techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum control systems
- Drive quantum security protocols for financial and government applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional R&D projects
