Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (1-4 dogs per group)
- Provide attentive care during walks including hydration monitoring
- Maintain detailed client logs and behavior notes
- Administer basic medications as needed (training provided)
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all pets and pedestrians
- Build rapport with pet owners through regular communication
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Basic smartphone proficiency for scheduling apps
- Positive attitude and love for animals (mandatory!)
- Clean background check and drug screening required
