Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs (1-4) at a time in designated neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, hydration, and waste cleanup during walks
- Administer basic medications (with proper training)
- Monitor pet behavior and report health concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed walk logs and client communication
- Adhere to safety protocols for extreme weather conditions
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and owners
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Physical ability to walk 3+ miles daily
- Basic pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service
- Must be 18+ years old
