Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment by stocking shelves and organizing displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in receiving and organizing new stock shipments.
- Collaborate with team members to execute weekend promotions and special events.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and courteously.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and loss prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; current students welcome to apply.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff.
- Basic math skills and ability to operate a computerized cash register.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record.
