- Provide Technical Assistance: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for clients via phone, email, and live chat with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Customer Communication: Deliver clear, professional, and empathetic explanations of technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Issue Resolution: Document all support tickets accurately in our CRM system and follow up to ensure the resolution of reported problems.
- System Maintenance: Assist in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company products and software updates to provide accurate guidance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the senior IT team to escalate complex issues and improve overall support processes.
- Remote Support: Provide remote desktop support and guide clients through step-by-step troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or technical support is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and network connectivity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Availability: Ability to work part-time hours (approx. 20-25 hours per week) including weekends or evenings as needed.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in a remote or office setting.
