Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive service to 15-20 guests per shift
- Accurately enter orders and manage payments via POS system
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food delivery
- Manage table turnover while maintaining cleanliness standards
- Upsell specialty dishes and beverages to enhance guest experience
- Resolve guest concerns promptly with a positive attitude
- Participate in opening/closing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year food service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to stand/walk for 6+ hours
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling
- Must be 18+ and available for weekends/holidays
- Food handler certification preferred (training available)
- Positive, team-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of Virginia ABC alcohol service laws
