Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive, friendly service to guests while maintaining knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and specials
- Process orders accurately using our modern POS system and coordinate with kitchen staff
- Manage table turnover efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer accountability
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere during peak rushes and special events
- Upsell premium menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience
- Adhere to all food safety protocols and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year restaurant serving experience in high-volume establishment
- Knowledge of wine, craft beers, and cocktail service preferred
- Ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Washington State Food Handler's Card required
- Basic POS system proficiency
