Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
- Accurately enter orders and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food delivery
- Manage table sections efficiently during peak hours while maintaining service standards
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions using POS systems
- Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and service stations
- Collaborate with hosts, bartenders, and fellow servers for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant serving experience in high-volume establishments
- Knowledge of wine, craft beers, and cocktail service preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Positive attitude and dedication to exceptional guest service
