Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, friendly table service to guests while maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings
- Process orders accurately through POS system and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely preparation
- Manage table cleanliness, stocking stations, and maintaining impeccable dining room standards
- Handle payment transactions efficiently and resolve guest inquiries with professionalism
- Collaborate with servers, hosts, and bartenders to ensure seamless service flow during peak hours
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere through communication and mutual support
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or upscale casual restaurant server experience required
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with diverse clientele
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic POS system proficiency and cash handling experience
- Must possess valid California Food Handler Card and TABC certification
