Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of ingredients and preparation methods.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen team efficiently.
- Clean and set tables according to strict hygiene and presentation standards.
- Handle cash transactions and process credit card payments accurately.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale casual setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of wine and cocktail pairings is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
