Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of our signature dishes and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs and maintaining a clean dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Handle payments efficiently and process various credit and cash transactions.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous server experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage in conversation with diverse groups.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Reliable availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Must have a valid food handler's permit or be willing to obtain one.
