Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, providing menus and offering beverage suggestions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our Point of Sale (POS) system and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Deliver orders efficiently and ensure all food is presented according to our high standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, including wiping tables, refilling water glasses, and ensuring restrooms are stocked.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash or card transactions with integrity.
- Collaborate with the culinary and service team to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations (AB 1225 compliant).
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work standing for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must possess a valid Food Handler Card (or willing to obtain).
