Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them clearly to the kitchen.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables with precision and speed, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bussing tables and resetting them for the next guest.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions responsibly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail pairings is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining high energy.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have valid food handler certification.
- Ability to work well within a team and follow verbal instructions.
